This is our 4th year coming back to Sunset Marina and we love it. Everyone is always super friendly and accommodating throughout the whole facility, from having a great snack at Il forno restaurant while enjoying the breeze and the boats passing by, or having breakfast, lunch or dinner at La Pergola or great Asian food at La Vela. Cilantro is great too for Mexican food. Luis Fernandez is always great and upbeat, so are Gonzalo, Hector and Yazmin. Daphne at the pool bar and Lluvia at the lobby bar make some great drinks as well. Finally our 4 and 7 year old loved spending time at the Kids Club and doing activities with Ximena and Angel. We’re looking forward to coming back next summer.

Very good, excellent service, especially bartender Lluvia, Dafne, and waiter Hector, who were very helpful and kind, always going the extra mile. Our experience was very good, and I would love to return soon.

Cute resort. The staff are fun / friendly and the location has a nice view of the yachts. It's very peaceful and quiet. The Asian restaurant was really enjoyable. The standard buffet option lacked a little in flavor. I hope to return. It was a fun, relaxing, and safe place to rest.

We enjoyed a weeks stay at the Sunset Marina and had the pleasure to eat at Vela Asian Cuisine many times. Although we did not sit at Hibachi grill our experience was great, from good authentic soups & appetizers to wonderful main course meals. We ate at the restaurant almost every night here. The staff was helpful & kind. I recommend the Mayan Coffee for a sweat treat & great show to wrap up your evening. Thank you staff for a great experience.
